LANGERHANS:

As in The Far-flung Islets of Langerhans: The Rocket Man writes:

Well, the Islets of Langerhans aren't on any map.
In 1869, Paul Langerhans, a German pathologist, described

cells became know as the 'Islets of Langerhans'.
Diabetes is a disorder where the Islets of Langerhans do
not properly supply the body with insulin.

Dave said it was actually pronounced lom-poke, but he may have been high on pork at the time.
